This bill specifies contract terms between a pharmacy benefit manager and a pharmacy. It provides restrictions on the inclusion of prescriptions drugs on a list that specifies the maximum allowable costs for those drugs. It requires for the pharmacy benefit manager to disclose cost-assigning methodology. It requires the contract to include an appeal process. It requires a pharmacy benefit manager to contractually commit to providing a certain reimbursement rate for generic drugs and for pharmacies to re-contract annually.
