Representative Priscilla Prado is a passionate advocate for economic empowerment, small business development, and equity. With over 22 years of experience in accounting and financial management, she is the owner of Midwest Bookkeeping, a firm dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed. Now representing District 9, which includes Milwaukee’s southside and West Milwaukee, in the Wisconsin State Assembly, she brings deep expertise and an unwavering commitment to serving her community.

Rep. Prado's leadership extends beyond her legislative work—she previously served as Treasurer for the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized among Wisconsin’s most influential Latino leaders. Her commitment to community advancement has earned her numerous accolades, including the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Award and the 2024 Poderosa Award: Woman of Excellence.

A two-time heart attack and triple bypass survivor, Rep. Prado's resilience fuels her passion for advocacy, particularly in ensuring economic opportunities, healthcare access, and resources for working families. She is dedicated to shaping policies that foster financial stability, job creation, and international trade opportunities for Latino businesses and communities across the nation.
