Immigration
At the core of the Immigration Task Force’s work is the goal of achieving a comprehensive federal immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers and essential workers. It also focuses on protecting the due process of asylum seekers, and policies to reform immigration detention, expand DACA, help improve sanctuary cities efforts, access to education and healthcare for immigrants, access to drivers licenses regardless of immigration status, increasing pathways to citizenship, and the demilitarization of the southwest border, among others.
