Wendy Underhill is the director for elections and redistricting at the National Conference of State Legislatures, headquartered in Denver. When she arrived at NCSL 10 years ago, Wendy specialized in research and analysis on election administration issues. Mid-decade, she added redistricting to her portfolio, continuing NCSL’s decades-long tradition of providing objective, bipartisan information and analysis on redistricting law and processes. Wendy has become a census observer as well, and reports that she never dreamed it would be as fascinating as it has proven to be.
