Stride’s Mission

Help learners of all ages reach their full potential through inspired teaching and personalized learning.  Everything comes back to learners. And not just the 56.6 million K–12 students — the 331 million Americans. Learning never stops. It’s the best means of growth throughout your life. But learning simply cannot be one-size-fits-all.  At Stride, we’re leading enormous and necessary change in a sector that’s left far too many behind. And it’s required us to challenge long-accepted beliefs and practices. With insight and input from learners, parents, school districts, boards of education, and policymakers, we continue to provide more effective ways to learn — focusing on building the skills and confidence learners need to make their way forward in life.

Stride’s Offering

At an early age or a later stage, learning is for everyone.  You’re considered a “student” for only so long, but learning never stops. So whether you're deemed gifted at eight or need a clean slate — whether you want to boost your career or jump-start a new one — Stride is here to empower you. And that includes empowering educators and employers, too.  From inspiring every learner and rejuvenating educators to shaping businesses, the lifelong learning approach is a universal commitment.

Stride’s Social Responsibility and Inclusion

At Stride, being socially responsible and inclusive is more than a philosophy we embrace. It's central to our mission, and it informs everything we do—from curriculum design to our own human resources. As a thought leader in the field of education and a leader in online learning, Stride acknowledges its increased obligation in promoting and teaching social responsibility. We also embrace the platform and voice this position affords us, letting us advocate for the millions of unique learners we support.

Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives

We Stand Together — It’s Stride’s top-down initiative to cultivate our communities, bridge differences, and engage others who have different experiences. From our learners and partners to our teachers and leaders, diversity and inclusion is front and center.
